Tracey Howe Wins TEDxGlasgow Award!

Congratulations to Professor Tracey Howe for winning the inaugural TEDxGlasgow Award. The award aims to celebrate and showcase innovation from Scotland and help the pitch become a reality.

As well as a Physiotherapist, Tracey is Professor of Rehabilitation Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University and director of Cochrane Global Ageing. Tracey has taken on the task of introducing the concept of Adaptive Design to Glasgow and spreading this across the world by creating a global network of professionals and amateurs to collaborate and co-create solutions to meet the specific needs for those in most need, including pop-up assistive products services in disaster zones.

Tracey fought off strong competition to win the award but her idea to create a more accessible and affordable healthcare for those living with a disability seems like a worthy winner to us! Make sure you follow Tracey on Twitter to keep up to date with the project.
