Dr Emma Salt is a Consultant Physiotherapist at Burton Hospitals NHS Trust. She is researching physiotherapy management strategies to reduce shoulder pain as part of an internship at Keele University. Emma is interested in suprascapular nerve blocks in the management of shoulder pain and specifically whether they are being used by physiotherapists, and if so, where and how.
Part of her research involves a survey of physiotherapists who are involved in the care of patients with musculoskeletal shoulder disorders.
