Listen to Professor Lee Kirby Talk about The Wheelchair Skills Program

Professor Lee Kirby is the developer of the Wheelchair Skills Programme. For over 40 years now he has been involved in rehabilitation research, producing well over 100 research articles on the topic, so when it comes to wheelchairs Lee really is a leading voice.

Wheelchair skills encompasses everything you need to do in your wheelchair. This can be from rolling around to elite sports but all focus on allowing the wheelchair user to integrate and participate in wider society. The Wheelchair Skills Programme is an exceptional programme to allow wheelchair users to thrive in whatever environment they find themselves in. Definitely take the time to listen to Lee talk about something we take for granted; the importance of independent movement.
