Dr. Stanley Paris, PT, PhD, FAPTA, FAAOMPT will be riding from San Diego, CA to St. Augustine, FL to raise support and awareness for the Foundation for Physical Therapy via the “Ride for PT Research.”
You can get involved by donating, joining in on the ride or offering support for the riders. The ride starts April 1 and is 3000 miles. Paris will be following the southern tier route established by the Adventure Cycling Association. You must be 16 years old to participate, sign a waiver and are responsible for providing your own support (food, housing, etc).
Past adventures by Paris included swimming across the English channel and sailing around the world. All of Stanley’s past expeditions were done for to raise awareness for the physical therapy profession and to raise money for research.
