Des Moines University has just completed their 2013 annual project in Physiopedia with the output of two very nice evidence based pages.
The project from Des Moines University is part of the elective course Developing Leadership in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Led by Shannon Peterson, students work in groups to choose a topic on which to create a new Physiopedia article or update an existing article reflecting current best evidence on a topic related to Orthopaedic Manual Therapy.
The project runs annually and this year, it’s second year, the students created two very nice evidence based pages:
- Evidence-Based Upper Extremity Thrust Manipulation
- Regional Interdependence in Low Back Pain: Interventions
We particularly like the fact that the students created their own images and videos to contribute to the pages, a great effort and the best way to avoid copyright issues!
