Here at Physiopedia we value the opportunity to meet our users, contributors and partners and one of the most effective ways for us to do this is to set up a space at professional gatherings. We currently have a policy of only attending one international conference a year and a few weeks ago we were fortunate enough to attend the APTA conference in Salt Lake City. The conference is a focused gathering of physical therapists, mainly from Northern America, with a selection of clinically orientated sessions extending throughout the conference week.
We had a great few days in our booth chatting to users and contributors, finding out what features of Physiopedia they like and suggestions for improvements. We also had the opportunity to meet our partners, some for the very first time. It never ceases to amaze me how Physiopedia has forged longstanding relationships online in a way that when we meet them for the first time it’s like meeting up with an old friend for a chat over coffee, it’s a great technology story.

Our favourite moment was when a couple of users passed by without stopping to speak to us but acknowledged our presence by calling out “we love you Physiopedia!”. This is what makes it all worth while. Thanks to all of you who stopped by!
