Are you tired of searching for copyright free images to liven up your contributions to Physiopedia? Well look no further, Creative Commons has provided a new search page which incudes searches of the key copyright free image repositories. It is easy to use and provides great results for images from Google, Flikr, Fotopedia and our favourite Wikimedia Commons. Just click on the repository you would like to search and enter you search term, such as knee or arthritis, in the search query box at the top. Hey presto, an image that you can use (hopefully!).
What is Creative Commons?
Creative Commons is a nonprofit organization that enables the sharing and use of creativity and knowledge through free legal tools. The free, easy-to-use copyright licenses provide a simple, standardized way to give the public permission to share and use your creative work — on conditions of your choice. CC licenses let you easily change your copyright terms from the default of “all rights reserved” to “some rights reserved.” Creative Commons licenses are not an alternative to copyright. They work alongside copyright and enable you to modify your copyright terms to best suit your needs.
