World Physical Therapy Day has proven to be an invaluable opportunity for physical therapists around the world to promote the work of the profession and highlight the vital role it plays in global health. As in the two previous years, we are continuing with the Movement for Health theme, with new materials added for 2010 on both active aging and how physical therapists help people affected by HIV/AIDS.
The material the WCPT provide is deliberately wide-ranging, providing a basis for activities and campaigns to suit the particular priorities of physical therapists in different settings and geographical areas.
