Rehabilitation of Articular Lesions in the Athlete’s Knee

Articular cartilage lesions are common, they can range from small focal lesions to large multi-compartmental lesions seen on osteoarthritis.  The aim of this paper is to give an overview of the types of articular cartilage lesions, the risk factors affecting development of lesions and also the clinical evaluation and non-surgical management of these lesions in athletes.
