There are a number of strategies available that help to restore the movement solutions lost in the presence of pain or dysfunction. But what are our priorities? Do we address restriction first? Do we aim to recover the deficits in the global or local systems before this? Where does strength focussed training enter the movement retraining equation? If the client’s problem is downstream of a movement related issue all of these solutions may play their part, but what is the first step?
