In August, the Senegal Association of Rehabilitation Physiotherapists (ASKR) held their national general assembly at the King Fahd Palace Hôtel, Dakar, Senegal. Physiotherapists from all over Senegal travelled to Dakar to be part of the scientific day.
With around 125 members, a Physiosplus partner and part of the recent SUDA Project, the ASKR has been a provisional member of WCPT since 2018. The WCPT Executive Board will propose to the General Meeting in 2019 that the national member organisation be admitted as a full member of WCPT.
The scientific programme of the conference covered paediatrics, cardiovascular and sports injury courses in the morning sessions. During the afternoon the Minister of Health and Social Action presided over the opening ceremony. See more of the day in this picture diary:
