Clinical research is one way to bring cutting-edge therapies to people who needed them yesterday, helping bridge the bench-to-bedside gap. I wanted to join the Physiopedia team to help provide an overview of clinical research to help people get started, or potentially spark interest, in getting involved in research.

At my day job, I coordinate the research and evaluation of novel therapies and tools, with a primary focus in neurorehabilitation. My mission is to connect patients to the latest advances in healthcare by facilitating clinical research. My background is in neuroscience research (MSc), and I’m particularly interested in neuroscience, neuroplasticity and brain health. I’ve worked across both academic (university) and industry (pharmaceutical, medical device) settings and am currently involved in exciting new clinical trials in the fields of spinal cord injury, Alzheimer’s disease, and traumatic brain injury/concussion.

I’m always happy to chat about clinical research; please don’t hesitate to reach out! All questions welcome.
