Hanneke Andriesse, Gunnar Haumlgglund

This study compares two intervention groups of 16 children treated with the Copenhagen method versus the Ponseti technique, during their first 2 months of age, then with a dynamic Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis at 4 months of age. They were assessed with the Clubfoot Assessment Protocol (CAP) and the Dimeglio Classification System (DCS) during treatment and at 2 years of age.

It concludes to a higher effectivness of  the CAP for assessment and the Ponseti method for treatment.
