The Physiopedia volunteer team is dedicated to reviewing content and creating awesome pages. Each month we choose a topic that we feel needs improving but this month we changed our regular routine and focused some of our energy on creating content for the Physiotherapy and Refugees Education Project. This project is a collaboration between educational institutions, organisations and other projects and Physiopedia is proud to be part of this innovative and important initiative.
Several members of the Physiopedia have been involved in the project and one of our major roles to date has been the scoping review which has recently been published in Physiotherapy. The aim of the review was to explore the existing knowledge and identify gaps which helped to form the basis and direction of the competency framework which will then go on to form large parts of the online educational programme.
We regularly post updates about the project on Physiospot so make sure you keep an eye out for updates in the coming months.
