World PT Day is on Tuesday the 8th of September, are you ready?
World PT day is an opportunity for physiotherapists from all over the world to raise awareness about the crucial contribution the profession makes to keeping people well, mobile and independent.
This year the theme will focus on rehabilitation and COVID-19 something which will continue to be at the forefront of our minds for months and years to come. Our profession is uniquely placed to step up and contribute to the challenge and help our most vulnerable people regain independence and quality of life in ways we have never seen before. Although it is easy at this stage to have COVID-19 fatigue and the thought of seeing and creating more resources is exhausting, this is our time to rise to the challenge.
This year why don’t you contribute to World Physiotherapy day in a different way and help Physiopedia build the biggest evidence based COVID-19 rehab resource for all clinicians worldwide. It’s easier to get involved than you think, we have a specific content development project you can contribute to. We have a team of volunteers to help you get up to speed and share your expertise on the biggest stage.
To help with the rehabilitation efforts Physioplus has COVID-19 rehabilitation courses available to make sure we are all upskilled and have the breadth of knowlegde to be able to help those who need us now more than ever.
