The facial area is one of the most frequently injured areas of the body, and the mandible is one of the most common maxillofacial bones dislocates because of its prominent position on the face, the powerful muscle attachments and the lack of support.
This is a case report showing that taping should be considered as a potential management strategy for those with TMJ disolocation.
