Injuries of the Hip & Groin 1 day course
This 1 day course covers relevant local anatomy, injuries encountered and relevant manual treatments, to help participants differentially diagnose and treat those presenting with hip and groin problems. The course will cover the functional (and regional) anatomy of the hip and groin, the common injuries encountered and understanding the principles of rehabilitation and treatments for patients with hip and groin injuries. In addition, the criteria for progression from the early / acute phase through to the final functional pre discharge stage of rehabilitation will be covered. Whilst specifically focused on musculoskeletal problems, the principles taught and demonstrated can be applied to all spheres of physiotherapeutic practice, including rheumatology, paediatrics and sports injuries. The course consists of both short lectures and practical sessions. Participant numbers are limited to a maximum of 24.
